Cleaners

We have several cleaning jobs available at our Sir James Mathews Building in Southampton – SO17 1BJ. The University currently provides an hourly rate of £11.83 per hour + 33.3% Shift Allowance.

Working hours: Full time – 36 hours per week

Monday to Thursday 22:00 – 06:00, Friday/Saturday 22:00 – 04:00

The role

To undertake individually or as a member of a team the cleaning of designated areas to ensure that they are kept in a clean and hygienic condition.
Cleaning to a specified standard which may include:
• Mop sweeping, damp mopping.
• Suction cleaning.
• Machine buffing/spray cleaning/scrubbing & drying.
• Carpet cleaning (hot water extraction method).
Interior window panel cleaning.
Dusting/damp wiping/washing/polish application.
Sanitary appliance cleaning/fixtures/fittings.
Replenish toilet requisites.
