This diversification in activities and geography pays off by reducing our risk exposure.Description du posteFor a new project based in Mons, we’re looking for a Document controller.The Document Controller’s prime responsibility is to process all incoming/outgoing documents:

• Set-up and maintains a filing system that supports efficient information management.
• Sends and receives documents from external organizations, prepares and edits paperwork for contract agreements, and ensures all records-management activities adhere to official policies and legal regulations.
• Liaising with draughtsman and technical department to meet their requirements
• Issuing the transmittal for all the documents (drawings, technical submittals, request for information and method statements, contract drawings) for distribution
• Preparing the transmittal of shop-drawings for submission to client
• Keeping all documents (material submittal, method statement, calculation note, RFI & drawings) in a proper filing system
• Receiving the submittal reply to documents from the client and send it to the Project Manager
• Keeping log of submittal & return date for all documents
• Monthly report generation to technical personnel/ site/ consultant

Qualifications

• Having a first experience in a Document Controller role within Architecture, engineering or construction is an asset
• Fluent in French with a good English communication skills
• Advanced understanding of Electronic Document Management Systems
• Able to work in a focused methodical way
• Self-motivated and able to work independently
• Approaches work in a highly organised way
