It offers the following products in stand alone or in packs: internet, fixed voice, mobile, tv.Job DescriptionAs part of CBU Finance’s Business Partners team, we are looking for a Finance Manager to support the sales department and omni-sales tribe lead as a financial business partner, throughout the financial cycle.As a finance manager, you will report to the CBU Fin BP lead.Responsibilities
- In collaboration with your business counterpart, you are responsible for the budget process, including the 3-year forward financial plan, the annual budget and the monthly budget reviews of Sales related drivers (SAC/SRMC, commissions, … ) drivers. You consolidate the figures and present them to the CBU Finance lead & the Sales and Omnisales tribe lead. You are responsible for monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting in relation to the budget (“variance analysis”) and you make monthly projections of risks and opportunities (Rolling Forecast). You will also be asked to support and monitor any action plans.
- You will participate in the preparation of business cases, analyse the hypotheses proposed by the company, write financial analyses and take care of the financial monitoring of ongoing projects. More concretely, your are a.o. responsible for:
- Defining and controlling the budget for commissions paid to our indirect sales partners. Participate in the design of commission remuneration schemes.
- Updating and delivering the Sales Acquisition Costs model (SAC), Sales Retention/Migration Costs (SRMC) model and channel profitability model, leading to strategic decisions in terms of channel share evolution, channel prioritization and investment.
- Leading the Sales department’s cost savings program, in collaboration with the RES Tribe/Sales/Omnisales/Omnicare/FIN teams.
- Ensuring that quarterly sales channel targets are aligned with financial and marketing ambitions
- You challenge data received to maximize company performance and value.
- You are also responsible for carrying out sensitivity analyses, using benchmarks, etc. You are close to business and act as a real financial partner, while maintaining a critical attitude and daring to question business proposals.
- You use your excellent communication skills to promote and ensure compliance with ‘good financial practices’ by translating basic accounting and financial principles to solve business problems. You are the official representative of the financial community within your division, and you ensure that the rules are respected.
- You work closely with other financial or support departments (tax, accounting, regulatory, legal, purchasing, treasury, etc.).
Your ProfileIn order to manage all of the above, we are looking for a colleague who
- has a good knowledge of Microsoft Office tools and is ready to invest in other software applications (TM1, …)
- good and broad understanding of the business
- ability to learn quickly and master new areas
- agile and able to handle ambiguity
- has good presentation skills (oral and written)
- is well organized and can work to tight deadlines
- is results-oriented, analytical and can handle stress
- has a very good team spirit and excellent communication skills
- is proactive, assertive, and diplomatic
Regarding your education and experience, we prefer a university degree, supplemented by at least 5 years of experience in a financial field (audit, controlling, financial analysis). You are also fluent in French, Dutch and English (oral and written).What do we offer you?
