Why we need this role
The Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Advisor will support the Head of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion in delivering on Colt’s DEI commitments. Deliver key projects and initiatives to embed inclusion into Colt’s ways of working, in partnership with our HR team and other key stakeholder teams.
What you will do
-Support and provide guidance to our employee networking groups, in line with our DEI strategy, including working with regional leads and Country Manager community
-Work with the ESG team to gather data and insights from our inclusion initiatives for the purpose of pulling together case studies and impact reports
-Support Head of DEI to develop processes, tools and policies to achieve relevant accreditation against Colt’s chosen diversity pillars
-Act as point of contact for the wider business on inclusion matters including Sales and bid support
-Provide research on inclusion and diversity best practices in order to bring the latest thinking on inclusion, diversity, equity and belonging into Colt
-Provide support and guidance to our HR Business Partnering team on inclusive practices and ways to operationalize our inclusion agenda
-Lead in the delivery of our plan to embed Inclusion & Diversity throughout our supply chain, working closely with the wider Environment, Social, Governance (ESG) team
-Support the development and implementation of policies that drive greater inclusion and support for employees
-Support the Head of DEI and Reward team to ensure employee benefits ensure an inclusive culture and a diverse employee base
-Work with our talent acquisition and talent development teams to embed inclusion into ways of working
-Provide on-going updates on our plan to achieve our gender targets
-Work with the Talent & Learning team on providing learning interventions that support the development of an inclusive culture including the promotion of Colt’s cultural awareness tool GlobeSmart
-Liaise with third party suppliers in support of the DEI strategy
What we’re looking for
-Prior work experience in the Human Resources field
-Deep interest in inclusion and diversity, with a strong understanding of key drivers, current trends, and best practices.
-Proficient in reporting and analytics, with the ability to synthesize data to generate insights and measurable outcomes.
-Prior work experience with working with HR data.
-Strong collaborative and team-oriented mindset.
-Experience in leading virtual teams and project groups.
-Proven track record in program development and management.
-Excellent influencing and negotiation skills.
-Degree or relevant qualification in Human Resources or a related field would be desirable.
-Professional proficiency in English.
