About the Role

Responsible for the management of indirect channels (distributors) in the Nordics (Norway and Baltics). This role is pivotal in selecting and developing strong distribution partners by leveraging deep knowledge of the local markets, competitors, and business dynamics. You will serve as the key interface between the company and distributors, focusing on sales, marketing, contract compliance, training, and overall support, with the ultimate goal of achieving category leadership and market expansion.

This field-based role requires weekly travel (up to 60%) to support Distributors and Accounts across the Nordics (Norway and Baltics), representing our Rhythm Management department, including both Electrophysiology (EP) and Cardiac Rhythm Management (CRM) portfolios.

This role can be based anywhere within the Nordic region. Close access to an airport is beneficial given the travel requirements.

Your responsibilities will include:

-Culture and Values Champion: Act as a culture promoter within the distributor network, fostering an environment of trust, collaboration, and adherence to company standards.
-Business Planning and Execution: Design and implement comprehensive business plans that maximize BSC’s operating income across RM franchises in the Nordics (indirect markets). Develop objectives, strategies, and actionable plans aligned with BSC’s divisional strategic priorities, particularly focusing on:

-Leading the PFA segment with innovation and market influence.
-Driving category leadership in Sudden Cardiac Death (SCD) while confidently exploring Cardiac Synchronization Therapy (CSP) opportunities.
-Revenue and Margin Expansion: Develop and execute both short- and long-term sales plans to meet revenue, gross profit, and sales process objectives. Ensure uncompromised discipline in price control and margin expansion across all franchises, aligning with BSC’s financial goals.
-Performance Monitoring & Reporting: Provide accurate sales forecasts, identify risks, and develop mitigation strategies. Write monthly reports to communicate business results, competitive insights, distributor performance, and potential recruitment needs.
-Distributor Relationship Management: Leverage an in-depth understanding of the local market and distributors’ business models to create value-added solutions through BSC products. Sustain strong distributor relationships by negotiating key contract terms, investment in resources and exploring new opportunities for product and service improvement.
-New Product Launch Support: Collaborate with marketing teams to prepare distributors for new product launches to drive successful market entry, particularly in the Afib and PFA segments.
-Regulatory Facilitation: Act as a liaison between distributors and regulatory bodies to streamline product registration processes, ensuring compliance and timely product approvals.
-Distributor Compliance: Ensure that all distributors adhere to BSC’s Quality Policy, Code of Conduct, and Corporate Integrity Program. Provide training and resources to help distributors understand and comply with these standards, and immediately report any potential issues through appropriate channels.
-Quality Systems: In all actions, demonstrate a primary commitment to patient safety and product quality by ensuring compliance with BSC’s Quality Policy. Promote a work environment that supports adherence to environmental, health, safety, and energy policies as relevant to the position.

What are we looking for in you:

-Business and Financial acumen: Uses analysis of market and competitor dynamics to anticipate market direction and make data driven decisions regarding portfolio management and budgeting.
-Business partnership: A minimum of 5+ years’ experience managing indirect channels is required, with a demonstrated ability to lead senior teams and foster distributor relationships in a complex market environment.
-Value proposition: Analyses, develops and delivers a differentiated value proposition that creates optimal value for BSC and our indirect channels.
-Problem Solving: Identify operational challenges and resolve them by applying established policies, while also considering new and evolving distributor needs.
-Strategy and execution: Drive decisions that impact financial outcomes, service quality, and team performance across multiple markets.
-Professional working proficiency language skills (or above) in English. Additional skills in other Nordic or Baltic languages are beneficial.
-Comfortable working in a field-based position and traveling extensively as required by workload (up to 60% across the Nordics and Baltics).
