Job description

PURPOSE OF THE JOB:The Distribution Specialist is responsible for planning inter-warehouse deliveries; deliveries to key customers; export supplies; packaging collections; pallet pickups. Prepares reports from the distribution area and for warehouses for the purpose of carrying out transport orders. Effectively communicates with carriers regarding ongoing implementation. Communicates with Primary/Planning/Warehouse departments to ensure efficiency and quality of the distribution process. Takes care of the Master Data of carriers’ cars in SAP.MAIN RESPOSIBILITIES:

• Organization and provision of transport
• Preparing reports for warehouses on loading
• Transferring orders and all information to carriers
• Using available sales forecast tools to properly secure shipments
• Ensures accurate reporting and discloses issues in a timely manner
• Whether the work plan is aligned with the team’s priorities
• In full compliance with laws, internal policies, processes and standards (food safety, quality, health and safety, ICF, etc.)
• Delivers agreed levels of service and quality to internal/external customers;
• Achieved team goals/KBI
• Completes all assigned tasks relative to goals
• Acquires new skills relevant to current job and changing work requirements
• Influences peers to achieve team results; Serves as an ambassador of the Company and the brand
• External/internal business partner satisfaction improved year-on-year
• Jointly agrees plans with business partners delivered sustainable business results
• Has strong working relationships with peers and connected functions enabled meeting goals
• Implements best practices, new way of working acquired
• Has ideas to improve service and simplify processes submitted based on scanning daily work and customer feedback
• Has external focus & awareness, identifying and informing on market trends in his/her area of responsibility (e.g., competition).

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

• Secondary education or technical school
• Usually requires at least 2 years progressively responsible distribution
• Ability to proficiently read, write and speak in local language,
• Communicative English
• Computer skills (e.g., MS Office, MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, SAP W2).
