About RoleThe post holder will support Directorate Support in the operational administration of Directorate Support within the Estates and Facilities Directorate. Directorate Support is responsible for the management and development of a range of functions to support the organisational effectiveness and development of a centralised service, on behalf of the Estates and Facilities Directorate (EAF).The Directorate Support Administrator is responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of administration to the Directorate and for ensuring that robust processes and monitoring systems are followed. The post holder will be responsible for supporting Managers in their management of staff sickness absence, recruitment administration and will act as the first point of contact for the Directorate, liaising with other members of staff both internally and externally to a high standard.About YouReporting to the Head of Directorate Support and Improvement, the Directorate Support and Improvement Administrator will be responsible for providing a centralised support service to the Estates and Facilities Directorate. The successful candidate would be responsible for supporting areas such as recruitment, absence management, Learning and Development, mandatory training, discipline and welfare.The successful candidate will hold GCSE in both English and Maths, with a Business Administration qualification or have equivalent experience, have strong administration skills, including experience of working in a busy, pressurised office environment, including a strong commitment to a customer-centered service culture, with a passion for providing an excellent service.
