Join us today and experience Life at Visa.Job DescriptionWe are looking for a passionate and innovative Director of Engineering to lead Initiatives and evolve CyberSource’s Secure Payment Credentials product offering. Within this role you will lead Teams of smart and talented Engineers and Architects to translate the function’s business vision into a technical reality. Working within our Secure Payment Credentials suite of products, you will thrive in challenging your rich skill set, you will be a visionary leader, a technical partner, a product advocate, an agile delivery enthusiast, a people enabler and an executor.As a Director you will:Be responsible for and the custodian of the long-term technical strategy for Key Initiatives in CyberSource’s Secure Payment Credentials product PortfolioCollaborate with product management to continuously evolve the product portfolio and deliver value add to the businessWork closely with senior engineers to develop the best technical solutions and approaches to product developmentDelight the customer through the delivery of applications with the highest levels of performance, reliability and usabilityProactively drive team and project performance, identifying and championing Best Practice Software Development processesPromote team engagement as well as the ongoing mentoring and professional development of highly skilled technical professionalsContribute, influence and deliver on CyberSource’s wider organizational strategy and goals (both at a local and global level)This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.QualificationsBasic Qualifications
– 10+ years of relevant work experience and a Bachelors degree, OR 13+ years of relevant work experience

Preferred Qualifications
– 12 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or 8-10 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 6+ years of work experience with a PhD
– Possess strong computer science credentials as well as a track record of building quality services– Be proficient with some of the following Languages, Frameworks & Technologies: Java, Spring, JavaScript, Hibernate, Tomcat, REST, HTTP, JSON, JUnit, TestNG, Mockito, Jenkins, Maven, Git and Docker.
– Be equally passionate about technology and solving large scale complex business problems
– Be a continuous learner who is pro-active in their drive to improve their technical skill and knowledge
– Be an established self-starter who possesses a relentless drive to initiate change, raise the technical bar
– Have expert knowledge of professional software engineering practices and best practices for the full software development life cycle
– Clear, professional communication skills able to contribute to team discussions, knowing when to contribute, when to listen, and when to ask questions
– Have excellent interpersonal skills and enjoy working in a highly iterative, agile and collaborative team environmentAdditional InformationVisa is an EEO Employer.
