Sales Director
Responsibilities:
Sales Management:
-
Accountable for new business revenue growth in the defined geographical region.

To become an industry expert and maintain a high level of knowledge of the sector and to advise clients of best practice within their sector.

Exceed assigned monthly, quarterly and annual team targets
-
Enforce and observe the ‘Minimum Sales Standards’.
-
Formulate and enforce the production and adherence to a Sales Plan for all growth within the region.
-
As a member of the sales force, it is imperative to achieve and maintain a level of professionalism that achieves the standards outlined by the Global Vice President, ALM Enterprise Sale.
-
Assist the team in generating and qualifying growth prospects to ensure the ‘pipeline’ fulfills the agreed business plan for any given financial year.

Develop and maintain quality relationships with existing and prospective customers where appropriate to driving the new business revenues.
-
Stay current on Iron Mountain selling strategies and new data security industry developments and trends.
-
Work with the Upstream/Marketing Team to identify new opportunities within the region.
-
Identify customers that require special project needs, manage, monitor and evaluate the project to ensure that it meets the customers’ needs involving other Iron Mountain stakeholders as appropriate.
People Management:
-
Provide leadership to the sales team, ensuring focus on coaching and mentoring.

Responsibility for the recruitment of high caliber customer focussed and commercially minded individuals, maintaining a focus on longer term succession planning.

Build a high performing team, ensuring individual and team performance goals and objectives are exceeded through the implementation of good performance management practices.

To develop the team to and maintain a high level of knowledge in their specific region.
-
Monitor weekly/monthly activities, ensuring meaningful 1:1 discussions are held regularly.
-
Ensure continual development of skills and competencies for both self and direct reports, coaching and training sales team members to become experts and deliver a quality partnering service to clients.

To set and achieve a level of professionalism that provides an example for all team members to follow.
-
Facilitate change by encouraging the sales team to seek opportunities for different and innovative solutions to address issues within customer programmes.

Provide direction and management to the internal support resources.
Qualifications:

15+ year industry and sales leadership experience with focusing on the memory and CPU selling in EMEA
-
Passion for sales with true “hunter” mindset

Grounded and practical individual with result oriented
-
Can-do attitude, open minded, curious and intelligent
-
Well-developed negotiation skills, influencing and client facing skills
-
Integrity and trust
-
Excellent communication skills

Positive attitude and collaborative with all stakeholders

A university degree is required
