Job Description
The Sales Director will be developing and driving EU sales in the Food & Industrial segment for the Microbiology Division (MBD). They will work with regional MBD Sales Managers for the vertical sales teams to drive profitable revenue and growth. This will be achieved through meticulous sales pipeline management, customer engagement, channel management and ongoing development of team members. This position requires an in-depth understanding of the market and customers and will balance the implementation and execution of both the Food Safety + Molecular portfolios in Europe. This role will report to the Snr Sales Director with multi-tiered regional teams working with Food business units and divisional functional leaders to ensure that short and long-term sales goals are reached.
Locations & Travel:
This is a fully remote role and can be based in any European country providing you live close to an international airport. Regular international travel will be required – up to 70% of working time (3 to 4 days pw on the road), including overnight stays.

Who we are looking for:
B.S. Degree (preferred in Microbiology or Business)
Background in Food, Pharma, and/or Bio-production sales, with experience developing and driving business-level sales plans
5+ years of people management experience with demonstrated dedication to diversity, equity, and inclusion
Demonstrated experience in recruiting, developing, and leading diverse sales teams, with a consistent record to command the respect of both technical and business teams
Ability to use CRM (Salesforce) to measure and mentor activities, progress towards sales goals, and results
Advanced level of English
Valid driving licence
