  • Experience: Demonstrated leadership in technology environments, with a strong background in SRE, DevOps, or similar roles within fintech or a related sector. Extensive experience in managing complex, high-availability IT infrastructures
  • Technical Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of modern cloud technologies, CI/CD methodologies, and observability tools. Expertise in developing and managing automated systems and processes
  • A manager of managers, able to equally inspire and hold to account
  • Excellent strategic planning, project management, and organisational skills
  • Collaborative Skills: Proven ability to work collaboratively with various teams, particularly in incident and problem management, to enhance system reliability and address underlying issues.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong capability in using metrics and analytics to guide technical decisions and improvements.
  • Excellent communication skills, adept at discussing technical details with engineering teams as well as translating these details into actionable language for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Pragmatic approach and the ability to prioritise outcomes over process when necessary to drive effective and actionable results.

The SRE team will collaborate extensively with the Incident Management and Problem Management teams to ensure swift resolution of incidents and to drive preventive measures based on incident retrospectives.What you get in return:

,[Leadership and Strategy: Develop and oversee the SRE strategy to support the organisation’s technology roadmap. Lead the, transformation of existing capabilities into a robust SRE framework, System Reliability and Health: Ensure optimal performance and reliability of all systems. Develop strategies for a proactive system monitoring and regular health checks to preempt potential issues, Collaboration on Incident Resolution: Work closely with the Incident and Problem Management teams to support incident resolution and to derive long-term solutions that prevent issue recurrence, Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvements in monitoring practices, system health checks, and process automation.
