My client is a prestigious international hotel chain seeking an energetic and dynamic Director of Sales. This role is critical in repositioning the hotel and driving proactive sales, focusing on corporate and MICE segments. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and leading a high-performing sales team, attending multiple trade shows, and reactivating accounts in preparation for the 2026 operational year.

Skills and Experience of a Director of Sales:

* Must-Haves:

* Experience with an international hotel chain
* 1-2 years of experience as a Director of Sales in a city centre or large-scale hotel
* High energy, flair, and strong personality

* Desired:

* Experience leading a team of 3-5 people

Key Responsibilities:

* Proactive Sales: Hunt for new business opportunities and cultivate existing accounts, focusing on corporate and MICE segments.
* Team Building: Build and lead a sales team of 3-5 people, fostering a high-energy and high-performance culture.
* Trade Shows and Fairs: Travel extensively to attend up to 10 trade shows per year, representing the hotel and generating business leads.
* Repositioning: Lead the effort to completely reposition the hotel in the market, with a focus on reactivating accounts and preparing for the full inventory operation in 2026.
* Strategy Development: Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and enhance market presence.
