Director of Ministry Development

Greater Europe Mission UK, a growing UK mission organisation dedicated to making disciples
and building Christ’s Church, is seeking a dynamic and visionary Director of Ministry
Development to join our team. This pivotal role offers the unique opportunity to shape our
organisation’s future by advancing our disciple-making by developing disciple-making teams
and Ministry Hubs across the UK as well as other missional initiatives.

Location: within the UK (with options for flexible working arrangements)

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement a strategic plan for ministry development, including disciple-
making teams and Ministry Hubs, aligned with the organisation’s overall mission and
goals.
• To provide leadership through the GEM lead, develop, care framework to all direct
reports.
• Provide leadership in the design and execution of discipleship programs, ensuring
spiritual growth and maturity among participants.
• Spearhead the establishment and growth of Ministry Hubs across the UK, serving as
focal points for local ministry activities, training, resourcing and community engagement.
• Build disciple-making teams, providing mentorship, guidance, and professional
development opportunities.
• Lead efforts to identify, assess, and prioritise mission opportunities in the UK.
• Collaborate with the fundraising team to develop and execute strategies for financial
sustainability.

We’re Looking For Someone With:
• Bachelor’s degree in theology, ministry, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience in a similar role.
• Track record of successful disciple-making, mission initiatives, and team development.
• Proven leadership experience in ministry development, disciple-making, and team.
building within a Christian context.
• Strong strategic planning and organisational skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to build and lead effective teams.
• Commitment to the organisation’s mission and values.
