THE ROLE
The Director of IS will provide strategic leadership in the design, development, implementation, and management of information technology (IT) and information management (IM) strategies. The Director plays a critical role in shaping HALO’s digital future and ensuring that its technology investments contribute to its overall success. The position requires a combination of technical expertise, strategic thinking, leadership skills, and effective communication.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement IT strategy aligned with organizational goals.
- Infrastructure Management: Design, implement, and maintain IT infrastructure to support global operations.
- Data Management: Ensure data security, compliance, and effective utilization for business intelligence.
- Human Resources: Lead and develop the IT team, fostering a high-performance culture.
- Vendor Management: Build strong relationships with IT vendors and negotiate contracts.
- Business Partnership: Collaborate with business units to identify and implement technology solutions.
REQUIREMENTS
- Technical Expertise: Proven experience in IT management, systems administration, and information security.
- Strategic Leadership: Ability to develop and implement IT strategy aligned with business objectives.
- Team Management: Strong leadership and people management skills to build and develop high-performing IT teams.
- Business Acumen: Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with business stakeholders and understand their needs.
- Operational Excellence: Proven track record in delivering IT projects and managing IT budgets.
