EL1080CWe are seeking an experienced individual who can devise and develop strategies to generate growth by leading opportunities to win external income from a range of sources. The success of this post will be measured by an increase in commercial income (turnover) and contribution (profit).The University has established an enviable reputation in the delivery of diverse programmes across Executive Education and Apprenticeships, as well as providing support to deliver large scale educational contracts for major employers. Contributing to the wider strategy of the Office for Executive Education and Skills, you will have the opportunity to develop and implement strategies to drive revenue growth, ensuring the University responds to internal and external policy drivers.As the leader in business development, you will be responsible for sourcing new opportunities, supporting the development of new tenders, bidding, and direct negotiation opportunities with industrial partners (public, private or third sector). You will also work with existing key areas of strength and opportunity (including Project Selborne, Military Work Based Distance Learning Programmes, Apprenticeships) to further build and expand the University’s capability in key sectors.The University of Lincoln offers exciting career opportunities with the chance to grow and develop to reach your full potential.
