The Role

We are looking for an outstanding Enterprise Operations Director with extensive operations leadership experience. Reporting to the VP, Information Technology, the ideal candidate will be able to solve business challenges in both creative and structured ways, is an excellent communicator, experienced in developing world-class, customer obsessed operations and possesses an extreme sense of ownership.

Your day-to-day

• Lead a globally dispersed, high performing IT team focused on user experience, enterprise enablement, operational excellence and employee development.

• Provide executive leadership to our operations, user support and audio/visual teams and leaders

• Develop and manage the organizational financials, ensuring strategic allocation of resources for maximum efficiency and return on investment

• Build and operate enterprise software management processes and tools to maximize operational and cost effectiveness

• Lead IT integration work for mergers and acquisitions

• Establish and manage strong relationships with vendors, service providers, and stakeholders; negotiate contracts and service level agreements (SLAs), and conduct ongoing performance evaluations

• Proactively establish and drive organizational strategy, technical direction and team structure to solution Proofpoint business problems at velocity

• Direct and manage the selection and acquisition of tools, technologies, and strategies, ensuring they meet operational and security needs

What you bring to the team

• Excellent project management skills, with experience leading teams to a successful project completion.

• Superior leadership skills with a passion for hands-on work and mentorship

• Experience building, leading and scaling global teams focused on exceptional customer experience and business enablement

• Strong track record of developing technical solutions to business problems with an emphasis on continuous process improvement, automation, stakeholder partnership and user experience.

• Proven ability to develop and grow team members in a direction that benefits them and the company

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills and executive presence

• Ability to proactively identify and resolve technical, process, organizational, and resourcing challenges
