We are looking for a talented candidate with some leadership experience within logistics, a broad understanding of supply chain management, and a strong emphasis on safety and sustainability,” says Senior Director of Logistics Denmark, Hasse Fensman.How you will make an impactYou will be part of the Danish Logistics organization and responsible for leading a team of 350 engaged colleagues and ensure a seamlessly delivery of our raw milk to dairies across Denmark.Areas of responsibility include:

• Leadership: You lead the department confidently and proactively with an engaging and trusting management style. You act as a role model by embodying and implementing our corporate culture. You cooperate with your colleagues in other countries to find global solutions and participate as an Arla ambassador in transport networks to influence the political transport agenda in Denmark.
• Strategic alignment: Proactively implementing the interests of the Inbound/Intermediate department in alignment with organizational objectives and in consultation with global and local stakeholders (e.g. member relations). The Inbound/Intermediate department encompasses all activities related to milk collection, intermediate transport, and our workshops.
• Continuous improvement: You identify potential for optimization based on key figures and reports. In collaboration with service providers, expert groups, and your team, you develop measures for holistic process optimization and consistently implement them. You take responsibility for their implementation to drive safety, quality, effectiveness, digitization, and automation.

Your workplace will be in Viby J, but you should expect some travel to our dairies in Denmark. In this role, you will report directly to our Senior Director of Logistics Denmark.What will make you successfulYou possess a strategic and forward-thinking mindset, with a strong emphasis on development, change management, stakeholder engagement, inclusivity, safety, and sustainability. Collaboration across departments is of great importance to you, and you actively welcome input from others.You hold a relevant master’s degree and possess 4-5 years’ experience in leading large organizations. Further, to successfully deliver on key priorities and drive significant positive business impact, we believe that you have:

• experience from the logistics/supply chain field or transportation industry

• strong communication and presentation skills

• fluent English language skills, both written and spoken and ideally Danish too

• proficiency IT tools such as MS Office and knowledge of SAP
