What You’ll Do:
Lubrizol is seeking a new Director Europe for our Lubrizol Fluid Engineering (LFE) team.
The position holder, reporting to the VP LFE, will have the following responsibilities:
-Responsible for overall business and P&L of the business by developing and implementing the business strategy regionally in alignment with LFE growth targets to achieve revenue and market share growth with key stakeholders
-Drives revenue, achieves/maintains leadership position, optimizes spend and ensures continued profitable growth of the business unit
-Develop and manage budgets, ensure robust forecast accuracy, and provide opportunity pipeline reports to ensure accurate and timely reporting of performance.
-Build strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and other stakeholders to understand their needs and develop tailored solutions that meet their requirements.
-Lead and manage a team of sales and product management professionals, providing coaching, training, and support to ensure high performance levels and achieve sales objectives. Align and prioritize activity across business units to maximize opportunity for the entirety of Lubrizol Fluid Engineering
What We’re Looking For:
-Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve ambitious goals · Exceptional strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound decisions in complex and uncertain environments.
-Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Marketing, Business Administration, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering and/or engineering related discipline. Candidates with MBA are desirable.
-A minimum of 15+ years of prior experience in combination of Technical, Sales, Strategic Marketing, and/or Product Management roles.
-Proven track record of achieving sales targets, building and managing high-performing sales teams, and developing effective sales strategies.
-Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers, distributors, and other stakeholders.
-Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze market trends, customer feedback, and sales data to identify opportunities and risks.

-Experience working in a matrixed organization and collaborating with cross-functional global teams
-Ability to travel internationally as needed.
