Offer DescriptionThe winner researcher will be involved primarily in the digitization of the archive materials (mainly photos, drawings and excavation documents) which are preserved in the Archives of UdA Mission in Libya and which are organized in various collections.
Once these phases have been completed for each collection, he/she will then proceed to the recognition and study of the archaeological contexts attested in these collections. The researcher will then proceed with the geolocation of these documents, in a usable GIS which can facilitate the study of both historical, archaeological and geomorphological contexts.
To facilitate these phases, the researcher will be directly involved in the Archaeological Missions in Cyrene and Giarabub, to facilitate the contextualization of the archive documents. Finally, the winner will be involved in the dissemination of the research themes and in the planning of a digital valorization of the project itself.RequirementsAdditional InformationEligibility criteriaa) the titles and scientific publications including: a PhD or equivalent qualification obtained abroad, the degree of specialization of the medical area, the certificates of attendance at post-graduate courses taken abroad as well as the performance of a documented research at public and tested by means of contracts, grants or assignments, both in Italy and abroad (60 points out of 100).
b) interview (40 points out of a hundred). Can not be allowed to interview candidates who have obtained less than 20/100 in the valuation of securities. The bankruptcy proceedings will conclude with the winner and the formation of a list of suitable valid up to a maximum of one year, whose use is restricted to the specific requirements specified in the notice
