• This is a unique and exciting opportunity to shape the next phase of the Hartpury Digital Innovation Farm in line with the Hartpury 2030 Strategy has arisen. Following the launch of the Agri-tech Centre in 2018 and further, significant investment in our Digital Innovation Farm vision, the initiative has grown from strength to strength and is now proud to be associated with many industry partners from Gloucestershire, the wider region and also nationally and internationally.
• The purpose of the Digital Innovation Farm & Agri-tech Project and Industry Engagement Manager is to play a pivotal role in overseeing the work of the Digital Innovation Farm (DIF) in line with the emerging vision including identifying and securing appropriate commercial opportunities, resources and partnerships.
• The role will involve establishing further links with producers and innovative suppliers to ensure full utilisation of the facilities and expertise of the Hartpury DIF and ultimately increase productivity for the county and wider.
• The role will also provide opportunities for university and college students to access the DIF and industry partners, with activities directly linking to their courses through close liaison with academic and farm staff, ultimately supporting their skills development.

About You

• Our expectations are high, and we are looking for a proactive individual who works effectively in team situations and is able to inspire and lead a small team.
• As an outstanding practitioner, you will have a strong background in project management and a good understanding of current agricultural practices inclusive of existing and emerging Agri-tech use and how it can positively impact a business.
