Salary: £21,840 per annum (real living wage)

Location: UK remote – with occasional travel to Haywards Heath, when required

Contract: Fixed term contract available on a 6 or 12 month basis

Hours: This is a full-time role with some flexibility around hours worked

About the role

The Digital Fundraising and Performance team is looking for an enthusiastic, proactive individual to support the delivery of digital activity to help increase income, supporter recruitment and retention through digital channels, including email, paid search, display and social. The Digital Fundraising Intern will support colleagues across the Digital Fundraising and Performance team and beyond, ensuring campaigns, online content and digital journeys are as effective as they can be.

The Digital Fundraising Intern will work within the Digital Fundraising and Performance team to support the delivery of digital activity to grow income, supporter recruitment and retention across channels. These include:

  • Content Creation: Creating stories, posts, and donation pages, incl uding text and images for the Sightsavers website.
  • Email Campaigns: Craft email copy, manage email builds, and support data and reporting processes.
  • Paid Advertising: Aid in content selection and contribute to the planning and reporting of paid advertising campaigns.
  • Website Optimisation: Perform website testing, spot-checking, and p roofreading to ensure an optimal supporter experience.
  • Team Collaboration: Work with the Individual Giving team on digital support for offline campaigns and assist with digital fundraising monitoring and research projects.

Essential:

  • Demonstrable passion for all things digital.
  • Strong work ethic, with excellent organisational abilities, and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Proficient in writing and proof-reading.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Capable of collaborative and independent work.
  • Strong level of IT literacy.
