The role

The role reports to Head of Content, and is responsible for creating and delivering brilliant content across our digital channels with a particular focus on our website.

Your role will be to support the business to deliver our core objectives through managing our evergreen content across all of our digital channels. You will have the opportunity to be creative and work with the business to understand core priorities and develop engaging web content to bring that to life. You will have experience of creating great customer journeys across a number of different channels using engaging formats and layouts to inform and engage our core audiences and build our credibility, you will work closely with agencies, subject matter experts and our content leads to define the content plan and ensure digital best practice is implemented.

You will have knowledge of all digital channels and the roles they play for different audiences and the ability to identify and achieve KPIs against those you will be a web specialist. You will work with our Social Media Manager to help build a content distribution plan across channels to consistently deliver our brand to our audiences, you will also provide web upload, keyword and SEO support for our Content Campaign Managers and Website manager.

You will be experienced in search engine optimisation and will need to build a plan that significantly enhances our ranking. You will be able to evaluate content and build our SEO and keyword guidelines to support the delivery of all web content.

The successor will be a core part of establishing and embedding ways of working for web content across the organisation and setting content SLAs, you will also work with your stakeholders to review and manage out of date existing content.

  • A results driven strategic thinker who is passionate about creating great content and understands different content types and their roles in maintaining brand engagement
  • Expert in Search Engine Optimisation, Keyword analysis and digital distribution strategies
  • Excellent manager and champion of internal processes with a supportive and collaborative approach to embedding within the business
  • A brilliant stakeholder manager and relationship builder with excellent influencing skills
  • Exceptional creative and analysis skills, curious, optimistic and with a positive attitude.
  • Excellent communication and editorial skills ready to write compelling and engaging content for different digital channels.
  • Experience of working with Content Management Systems (CMS)
