Location: University of Warwick Campus, CoventryAbout the RoleFor informal enquiries, please contact Carl Freelove (Associate Director of Marketing (Commercial & Innovation)) at .We’re looking for a switched-on marketer with solid experience of planning and developing digital content for social media and web to join an ambitious commercial marketing team at the University of Warwick.This role is essential in helping to increase reach and engagement for social media channels and digital platforms across a broad spectrum of businesses that include Warwick Arts Centre, Warwick Sport, Warwick Conferences, Warwick Food Group and the Innovation Group.The key responsibilities for this role are as follows (see separate job description for full detail):

  • Collaborating with the wider commercial marketing and digital teams to develop content plans and providing strategic and tactical recommendations to inform future planning and delivery.
  • Creating and editing compelling copy, visual assets and video content for social media that resonates with our followers and reflects our strategic aims
  • Supporting the community management of our social media channels including engaging with audiences, responding to comments and coordinating responses with internal stakeholders, where appropriate.
  • Developing SEO-friendly web content, including strategic key phrase placement within marketing copy, to maximise opportunities for engagement
  • Measuring and reporting on performance of digital content activities to inform decision-making

About YouTo be considered for this role, you’ll:

  • Have considerable experience of creating compelling content for digital channels from a commercial setting.
  • Love project work, and be comfortable collaborating with all types of stakeholders, including Heads of Business, operational teams, content creators, marketers and other subject experts
  • Be self-motivated, driven, with a can-do, problem-solving attitude
  • Be a creative thinker with excellent writing and content generation skills
