Digital Commerce Media Manager (9-Month Maternity Leave) in Zaventem, Belgium

We are seeking an experienced Digital Commerce Media Manager to join our team on a temporary basis to cover a 9-month maternity leave. In this role, you will be responsible for driving the digital commerce media strategy across the Benelux region. Your primary focus will be on deploying best-in-class digital commerce media strategies to enhance the consumer experience and drive conversion to purchase.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Brand Marketing, Customer Marketing, and Sales KAM teams) to develop and implement aligned e-media activations across all customers and platforms.

  • Design and deliver a Digital Commerce Media strategy and media briefings per brand, ensuring alignment with Brand Marketing strategies.

  • Embed digital tactics into brand content maps, covering the entire customer journey.

  • Orchestrate all local performance marketing activities related to digital commerce to drive growth and performance.

  • Manage relationships with key stakeholders, including Media Advertising Agency Publicis, Amazon Advertising, and Flywheel.

  • Oversee the A&P budget for Digital Commerce Retail Media, based on e-mix calculations.

  • Optimize media investments across the consumer journey to maximize Return on Advertising Spend (ROAS).

  • Support New Product Introductions (NPI) by creating Search Strategy and Keyword Plans.

  • Utilize Power BI to analyze and present data, driving informed decision-making.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • 3+ years of experience in a similar position within media marketing (agency, in-house, or consulting).

  • Strong media management experience, ideally within FMCG/FMCH, with proven activation experience.

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in (digital) marketing, business management, e-commerce, or a related field.

  • Strategic thinker with strong media and commercial acumen.

  • Digital-savvy with a passion for adapting to the constantly evolving eCommerce landscape.

  • Fluent in English, with proficiency in French and/or Dutch.

  • Strong analytical mindset with experience using Power BI.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Self-starter with a high degree of motivation, capable of working at both strategic and tactical levels.

  • Strong collaborative skills, with experience working in a matrix organization.
