The Role: Digital Buying Specialist

At Stone Island we are always looking for people who share our spirit and values to drive our company forward. We are currently looking for an engaged and passionate Digital Buying Specialist who can join our Team at Stone Island HQ in Milan.

Your Impact

The Digital Buying Specialist plays a key role in supporting the development and execution of the digital buying and merchandising strategy. Working closely with the Digital Merchandising team, they contribute to defining the optimal assortment, managing the buying process, monitoring business performance, and ensuring the best online product offering across markets.

This role combines strategic thinking with strong analytical capabilities, requiring the ability to translate data into actionable insights that drive commercial decisions and improve business performance.

Activities

• Support the definition of the optimal assortment, product depth and buying strategy according to sales targets, commercial objectives and market/channel specificities
• Collaborate with Collection Merchandising, Retail Merchandising and Planning teams to develop a consistent and optimized omnichannel strategy
• Perform sales, stock and business performance analysis, preparing reports and actionable insights to support commercial decisions
• Work closely with the Digital team to define and execute the go-to-market strategy, ensuring successful collection launches and commercial activations
• Identify opportunities to optimize performance through data analysis, market trends and continuous business monitoring

Qualifications

Main Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree
• 2-3 years’ experience in e-commerce buying or buying assistant roles
• Fluent English
• Advanced Excel skills, knowledge of Power BI is considered a plus
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and transform insights into business actions

Compensation & Benefits:

• Compensation package range: from 30.000 to 35.000 € gross.
