A Day in the Life

Medtronic has a great opportunity for a professional to join a market-leading medical devices company. For our EMEA (Europe, the Middle East and Africa) Diabetes Commercial Operations team, we are looking for a Senior Business Analyst who will play a critical role in the EMEA Diabetes organization in our pursuit to data driven insights and solutions. This is an exciting time for the Diabetes business with strong double-digit growth and a pipeline of innovative technology and services that are transforming the lives of individuals living with Diabetes

As a Senior Business Analyst, you will be responsible to transform business needs into solutions in close collaboration with developer(s). While considering the technical and business roadmap. This role will also be responsible for providing analysis and insights to improve operational decision making within the WeCare Leadership Team. The WeCare team is right at the heart of the Diabetes EMEA business, delivering a range of proactive and support services directly to patients, with over a million contacts a year. They bring Medtronic to life for patients, helping them to achieve successful therapy outcomes and building trust and engagement for a lifelong relationship. You will partner with various additional stakeholders including Finance, Marketing, Sales, Quality and the Regional leaders.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

• Enabling clear direction for creation of future strategic vision and business requirements through insights

• Proactively partnering to the WeCare and EMEA Diabetes Leadership Team while understanding business strategy and operational goals and able to anticipate needs as part of the planning and performance management cycle

• Providing insights to enable WeCare leaders to take effective operational decisions, educating Diabetes EMEA organization on how data should be accessed and understood across the organization

• Partnering with WeCare and EMEA Diabetes Leadership Team stakeholders on key projects and business cases to enable Diabetes services and capabilities to become more efficient

• Enabling partnering with IT to improve quality of reporting systems; providing relevant data across various roles, and the ability for managers to access and understand their own performance reports

• Proactively seeking new insight opportunities; either from new systems, or enhancing capabilities from existing data sources

• Driving process improvement & efficiencies across Commercial Operations processes

Required Knowledge and Experience:

• Proven analytical track record and, curiosity and passion for data analysis

• Advanced (=efficient) Excel proficiency

• Team player who jointly delivers solutions and experience in a multinational environment

• Fluent in both written and spoken English, additional language(s) preferred

• Strong ability and experience to partner remotely across different cultures and facilitate decision-making activities and comfortable presenting and communicating results

• Strong attention to detail and focus on quality while able to manage multiple priorities

Experience in project management and ability to build queries for reporting in PowerBI and Snowflake are desired.
