At Lilly, we unite caring with discovery to make life better for people around the world. We are a global healthcare leader headquartered in Indianapolis, Indiana. Our employees around the world work to discover and bring life-changing medicines to those who need them, improve the understanding and management of disease, and give back to our communities through philanthropy and volunteerism. We give our best effort to our work, and we put people first. We’re looking for people who are determined to make life better for people around the world.
Organization Overview:
Lilly has been a global leader in diabetes care since 1923, when we introduced the world’s first commercial insulin. We’ve come a long way over the last century, including our latest innovation – the first new class of type 2 diabetes medicines in more than a decade. But we’re not stopping there. As the prevalence of diabetes continues to grow around the world, we need new approaches to transform care, improve treatment access and provide education to those navigating this disease every day. The needs of people with type 2 diabetes continue to evolve over time, and treatment approaches need to reflect that. Our cutting-edge research is focused on disrupting the progression of the disease to improve care and outcomes — allowing people with diabetes to live full, active, and healthy lives.
For this challenging and ambitious purpose, we are currently looking for a Medical Affairs Professional (MAP) for the Italian market.
Reporting to Diabetes Medical Director, the primary focus of the MAP will be to use the individual’s knowledge of specific disease states, available treatments, and investigational compounds to help deliver strategic/tactical thinking and lifecycle planning. The MAP plays an important role in the cross-functional partnership with the brand team to meet both external customer and internal business needs.
