DevOps & Platform EngineeringThe main purpose for the DevOps & Platform Engineering function is to enable a smooth development experience for our highly skilled dev-teams. We support the whole Software R&D in delivering software all the way to power plants and wind turbines. We aim to utilize newest technologies and best practices within DevOps and Platform Engineering industry.The DevOps & Platform Engineering function is anchored in Vestas Power Solutions. This is where new product ideas and technologies are developed, matured, tested, and improved. Your main responsibilities will consist of
Own, maintain and design effective software infrastructure strategies and toolchains
Share, teach, and communicate best practices
Design, implement and continuously improving existing software development toolchains
Collaborate with stakeholders across a big organization and with colleagues on different levels
Being a source of expertise in the DevOps community at Vestas for developer communityIn this role, you are expected to
- Take on responsibilities, until ownerships are clarified or anchored elsewhere
- Being the experienced go-to person within DevOps and Platform domain
- Demonstrate skills above average for infrastructure tools such as Jenkins, Ansible and Terraform
Qualifications
- Degree in computer science, software engineering, or a similar field
- Previous experience working as a DevOps engineer/Developer or Platform Engineer
- You have great communication skills and are fluent in English, both written and spoken
- Agile mindset, and experience with SCRUM or other agile setups
- Expert in Continuous integration and Continuous Delivery solutions with e.g. Git, Jenkins, Atlassian suite

Your primary work location will be at Vestas headquarters in Aarhus.
You can expect 5-10 travel days/year is expected.
