Recently, we secured a to fuel our U.S. expansion and advance our mission: to make human knowledge digital and widely accessible.About the roleAs a DevOps Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of our platform. Your work will involve managing our AWS-based infrastructure, building and optimizing CI/CD pipelines, and collaborating closely with Backend, Frontend, QA, and Data Science teams to support their operational needs.Key responsibilities you will be in charge of

• Infrastructure Management: Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure (AWS) to ensure high availability, scalability, and cost efficiency.
• CI/CD Pipeline Ownership: Develop, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines to streamline code deployment, testing, and release processes.
• System Monitoring & Incident Response: Set up and maintain monitoring and alerting systems (e.g., CloudWatch) to ensure performance, reliability, and rapid response to incidents.
• Collaboration with Teams: Work closely with Backend, Frontend, QA, and Data Science teams to support their infrastructure needs and optimize deployment workflows.
• Disaster Recovery: Design and test backup and recovery processes to ensure business continuity.

Requirements to succeed in this role

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years of experience in a DevOps or similar role.
• Proficiency with AWS services (EC2, ECS, ECR, S3, RDS, IAM, etc.).
• Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes optional but preferred).
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab CI/CD).
• Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., CloudWatch, Sentry, Prometheus, or similar).
