In this position, you will play a critical role in guiding a team of developers to build and enhance our enterprise performance management SaaS platform. You will leverage your extensive experience in software development, agile methodologies, and cloud-native technologies to mentor your team, drive continuous improvement, and ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions.Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership & Mentorship:
- Lead a team of developers, providing guidance, mentorship, and fostering a collaborative environment.
- Conduct regular code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and promote best practices.
- Support professional growth and development of team members through coaching and training.
Project Management:
- Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to define project requirements, deliverables, and timelines.
- Manage and prioritize the team’s workload to ensure timely and efficient delivery of software features and updates.
- Facilitate agile ceremonies (e.g., stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives) to promote agile practices and continuous improvement.
Software Development:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance software solutions using .NET, Typescript, and Python.
- Implement cloud-native development practices including 12-factor app principles, API-led design, microservices, and containerization.
- Leverage Microsoft Azure for cloud infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, security, and scalability.
Continuous Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance team efficiency and product quality.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies, incorporating them into development practices where applicable.
- Ensure adherence to best practices in software development, security, and DevOps.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on cloud-native applications.
- Proven experience in leading and mentoring development teams.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Azure, .NET, Typescript, and Python.
- Deep understanding of agile methodologies and experience in agile project management.
- Familiarity with cloud-native concepts such as 12-factor apps, API-led design, microservices, and serverless architectures.
- Experience with DevOps practices and tools (e.g., CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional, geographically distributed teams.
