Then, this job opportunity might be something for you.about the roleAs Development Manager in Texthelp Nordics, you will be managing three teams of developers across two locations: Albertslund and Malmö. The teams are working together, and this will get even more so in the future.Being a Development Manager you will be the servant leader that helps your teams at each location succeed. You will work with Developers, Team Leads, Linguists, Implementation Specialists and Product Management to mention a few.Together with the teams you will continue to develop first class software helping students and people living with dyslexia to understand and be understood.main responsibilities- Responsible for implementation and planning of roadmap
– Acting as project manager whenever we need to leave the agile box
– Solving technical issues with the development team
– Management of the development team
– Producing reports on product technical progress to VP of Engineering
– Working with the VP of engineering to continuously better the development setup
– Helping to drive technical innovation roadmapessential criteria- 3+ years experience leading agile development teams
– 3+ years of commercial development experience
– Strong leadership and communication skills
– Interpersonal skills, comfortable with multiple stakeholders
– Project management skills, capable of of managing multiple projects concurrently
– Team-Building and maintaining a teams skills
– Experience of working in a cross functional team based agile environment
– Excellent English skillsdesirable criteria- BSc or higher in a related discipline (Computer Science/Software Engineering) or equivalent experience
– ITIL certification
– Scrum / Kanban certification
– Experience working towards a product management organisation
– Experience of web development technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Angular)
– Experience of development using database technologies (e.g., SQL, MySQL)
– Familiarity with development using cloud-based platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)
– Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools (e.g. Azure devops, Pipelines etc. )
– Experience with machine learning and artificial intelligence.
– Knowledge of mobile operating systems
– Knowledge of Browser Extensions and Add-ons
– Knowledge of secure coding practises for web development – eg: OWASP Top 10
