What You Will Do

* Engage in mechanical design and development of special purpose machinery for the battery industry.
* Drive new product development from concept to delivery, ensuring compliance with specifications and safety regulations.
* Lead and support design reviews, prototype testing, and risk assessments.
* Generate detailed engineering drawings for manufacturing and assembly processes.
* Collaborate closely with operations, manufacturing, and production engineers to streamline product development.
* Assist in onsite customer installation and testing of first-off products as required.

What You Will Bring

* An Engineering degree or relevant apprenticeship.
* Experience in a design engineering role within a related field.
* Proficiency in CAD software, preferably SolidWorks, paired with strong drawing and geometrical tolerancing skills.
* Proven ability to solve problems effectively and manage tasks efficiently.
* Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude, coupled with self-motivation and enthusiasm.
