Job Description:As a Designer in End Fitting R&D, you will collaborate with the Engineering & Technology team and the New Product Development team to develop and refine designs for Flexible Pipe End Fittings. This role requires close cooperation with engineering teams, testing facilities, and manufacturing plants.Our Company National Oilwell Varco Subsea Production Systems (NOV SPS) specializes in designing and manufacturing flexible pipes and innovative solutions for the offshore oil and gas industry. We leverage superior engineering and cutting-edge manufacturing technology to establish enduring partnerships with global contractors and oil companies.The responsibilities are:

  • Create and check General Arrangement Drawings,
  • Create and check Technical Drawings,
  • Create and check relates documentation for Mounting Department,
  • Work with focus on sub supplier and production satisfaction,
  • To constantly strive to deliver to the expected spec, cost and time,
  • Know the value stream for projects in NOV
  • Deliver on time,
  • Travel as and when required,
  • Carry out other duties as and when business requirements dictate as may be reasonably expected by line manager.

Who are you?

  • Skilled in Creo 2D and 3D modelling,
  • At least 1 year of designer experience in the Oil and Gas or other energy industry,
  • Computer literacy (including good command of Microsoft Office Excel, Word and Outlook).

It is nice if you…

  • Skilled user of Team Center,
  • Experience in exporting and cleaning/optimizing rough automatic drawings.
