• Deliver Engaging Lessons: Design, plan, and deliver inspiring Design Technology lessons across the curriculum.
• Develop Practical Skills: Foster students’ design and technology skills, including planning, construction, and use of materials and tools.
• Encourage Creativity: Promote creativity and innovation in the design process.
• Prepare for Success: Prepare students for success in relevant Design Technology qualifications.
• Contribute to the Department: Collaborate with colleagues to create a positive and inclusive learning environment and contribute to the overall success of the Design Technology department.

Key Responsibilities

• Curriculum Development: Contribute to the ongoing development of the Design Technology curriculum to ensure it aligns with the latest advancements in the field.
• Assessment and Evaluation: Design and implement effective assessment strategies to monitor student progress and provide timely feedback.
• Professional Development: Participate in professional development opportunities to stay up-to-date with the latest teaching methods and best practices.
• Mentorship: Mentor and support student development, helping them to reach their full potential.
