Design Technology Teacher
Required January 2025 (earlier if possible)
Full time/permanent MPS/UPSWe are seeking to appoint a dynamic, inspirational and highly motivated teacher to join our dedicated team of Design Technology teachers. Candidates should be able to teach Design and Technology GCSE. We are a large, friendly and successful faculty with outstanding resources and equipment, having recently benefited from a £1.5 million refurbishment. Both KS3 and KS4 projects are incredibly well resourced, helping teachers achieve a work life balance.Our school is highly successful, with EBacc entries well above the national average, and successful results for students, whether they are disadvantaged, SEND or Gifted and Talented. We value the development of the whole child, and encourage students to take part in a wide range of co-curricular activities. Outdoor education is very popular with our students, and we usually have a large proportion of Y10 participating in the Bronze DofE award, with many progressing to the higher awards. We also run a range of trips each year, both abroad and in the UK, culminating in a popular ‘activities week’ at the end of the year.Successful applicants will:
