Design Engineer – Electromechanical Instrumentation

Our client, an expanding company located in Antwerp, Belgium, is in search of a highly skilled and seasoned Design Engineer to join their innovative team. As part of an international team, you’ll engage with a diverse group of professionals hailing from various regions like Europe, Asia, and Latin America. This role offers an outstanding opportunity to work with cutting-edge X-ray Micro CT technology and make valuable contributions to projects in the medical, pharmaceutical, and chemical sectors.

Duties:

* Design and provide support for measurement instruments and experimental setups in alignment with predefined requirements and specifications
* Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution
* Conduct thorough testing and analysis to validate instrument performance and functionality

Requirements:

* Hold an academic background in mechanical design engineering or possess equivalent experience
* Accumulate a minimum of 5 years of work experience in designing micromechanics, precision instruments, and/or measuring instruments
* Demonstrate proficiency in utilizing CAD Tools, with prior experience in Solidworks considered advantageous
* Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
