We lead the high-performance onshore market segments with our SHIFT compact modular platform designs. We delivered the world’s first offshore 9.5 MW wind turbine gearbox and, in close cooperation with our partner, delivered the first next generation 15 MW offshore powertrain.

We have the world’s largest installed capacity of +8 MW offshore wind turbine gearboxes. What you can look forward to as Design Engineer Gearboxes & Powertrain:

• Taking an expert role within our design team at ZF Wind Power
• Responsible for designing and calculating a product/gearbox in line with customer- and internal requirements, ready for production and assembling
• Design and calculate components and systems of the gearboxes
• Leave a mark on technological specifications of a products or a part of it
• Being involved in the co-engineering of suppliers and other departments such as process engineering, purchasing, supplier quality and validation engineering

Your profile as Design Engineer Gearboxes & Powertrain:

• Experienced mechanical engineer with bachelor/ master’s degree or similar
• First experience with PTC Creo and Windchill is a plus
• Creativity combined with interest in technical skills and a customer orientated approach
• CAN DO attitude, taking initiatives and dedicated to realize the set goals
• Strong in problem solving and good communication skills, fluent in English, Dutch is an advantage
