If so, you could be the perfect fit for our team as a Design Development Specialist!Within our Global Product business sits our Design Development department, which is a team of highly skilled and specialized design developers who every day strive to develop the most beautiful jewellery and concepts. In this role, you will play a key part in tracking multiple collections, collaborating closely with Design Development Managers, Designers, and our colleagues in Thailand. The ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams is essential to success in this position.We’re looking for a curious, adaptable team player who excels in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment. You will need strong project management skills, the ability to manage shifting priorities, and a proactive approach to challenges. A willingness to learn, humility, and flexibility are key, as well as a keen understanding of product development processes.Key Responsibilities:
Collection Development & Tracking:

  • Support the manager throughout the collection development process.
  • Track design sketch launches and delivery schedules to ensure timely development.
  • Monitor the number of designs in collections in collaboration with the Thai Product Development Team.
  • Update cross-functional collection line plans with design IDs and images.
  • Upload design briefs and maintain status updates in the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system.
  • Coordinate with the Legal team to ensure IP compliance.
  • Communicate feedback and process control comments from the manager to the production team.
  • Opportunity for Growth: Manage smaller collections, concepts, or projects-including CAD reviews, design feedback, proto, cost and quality reviews, while keeping timelines on track.

Sample Approvals:

  • Review pre-production samples and provide detailed feedback to the Thai Product Development teams.
  • Review tolerance charts and ensure proper sample storage and tracking.
  • Review sample edits and communicate updates to relevant stakeholders.
  • Product Packshots:
  • Represent Design Development at product photo shoot meetings.
  • Ensure that the correct samples are used in shoots.
  • Verify that photos accurately reflect the colors and details of the samples.

Reports / Meetings:

  • Attend weekly capacity check-ins with the Thai Product Development team.
  • Participate in weekly technical meetings with Design Development Managers and the Product Development team.
  • Lead marketing sample handover meetings.
  • Present collections to Creative Content teams and Copywriters.
  • In addition to the core responsibilities outlined above, the Design Development Specialist will also play a key role in a variety of dynamic, ad hoc tasks and special projects that arise throughout the year. These projects may vary in scope and complexity, often requiring creative problem-solving, flexibility, and strong collaboration with different departments across the organization.

Professional Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in the jewelry or consumer goods industry, with a focus on development, innovation, or project management/assistance roles.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, with advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, with flexibility to adapt to shifting priorities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Strong eye for visual design aesthetics, especially in jewelry and product presentations.
  • Collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work cross-functionally.
  • Familiarity with PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) and AX systems is a plus.

  • Passionate about structure and organization, with a strong interest in Excel spreadsheets, design, innovation, and the product lifecycle process.
  • Detail-oriented while maintaining the ability to see the big picture.
  • Strong communication skills – both written and verbal.
  • Keen eye for visual design, particularly in jewelry and product presentations.
  • Team-oriented, with a collaborative and supportive approach.
  • Positive, can-do attitude, with a willingness to take initiative and tackle challenges.
