Be the bridge between creativity and consistency and help shape the future of LEGO® gaming experiences!Core ResponsibilitiesDesign approvals: Ensure that the quality of creations and original design assets using LEGO elements as medium meets the standards set by the LEGO Group, including adherence to our defined design and brand guidelines (hereunder the rules for the LEGO System in Play, model building, and the LEGO Brand Values).Onboarding and training: Ensure that development partners are onboarded to necessary guidelines and facilitate required training for partners to design LEGO models and assets that stay in sync with LEGO guidelines and align with the LEGO brand.Guidelines and reference materials: Participate in the co-creation of new guidelines and continuously keep our current guidelines up to date to ensure a high-quality representation of the LEGO System in Play and the LEGO building experience in a gaming context. Ultimately having the responsibility to preserve the LEGO idea in our gaming experiences.LEGO Design advisory: In collaboration with partners from the LEGO Design team, you will advise partner teams during the design and development of brick build models and assets – ensuring we stay true to the LEGO brand and ensure consistency across LEGO games.Digital building system: Assist in improving the digital building experience across LEGO games and work towards solutions that improve the experience without compromising the LEGO brand.You will be an ambassador for the LEGO® building and play experience, overall DNA and values towards our partners.Play your part in our team succeedingThe LEGO GAME ambition is to demonstrate that games based on the LEGO Idea can be the most fun, creative and collaborative, while being safe. Relocation support is not offered for this role.Do you have what it takes?Proven experience in product design with a strong understanding of design principles and systems for creating cohesive, engaging building experiences.Capable of managing multiple project streams and creating guidelines for onboarding and training.Skilled in educating, training, and coaching partners while maintaining positive internal and external relationships.Familiarity with tools like frame.io, MIRO, and user-testing is a plus.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Be a kid at heart, keeping the gamers of tomorrow in mind when defining and applying design guidelines.Nice to have:Knowledge of 2D and 3D element sculpting and representation.Passion for toy design with a basic understanding of the commercial industry.Proficiency in working with a data-driven approach while considering kid and consumer perspectives.Thrives in a fast-paced environment, embracing cross-functional collaboration.Enjoys networking and building strong connections across teams.Build your career brick by brick at the LEGO Group.“Does Bringing LEGO Play to gaming and gamers to LEGO Play sounds energizing?
