Deputy Local Service Manager

Reepham Road, Norwich, NR6 5LG  

£28,225 – £29,711 per annum

37.5 hours per week

 

Sanctuary Supported Living is delighted to be recruiting for a Deputy Local Service Manager at our Homelessness Service at Reepham Road in Norwich.

The role of Deputy Local Service Manager will include:

-Managing, recruiting, developing, and training staff within appropriate legislative or NVQ frameworks and devising effective and well-run staff rotas

-Promoting best practice to ensure quality services are carried out by staff 
style=”margin-top:0.0cm;margin-bottom:0.0cm” type=”disc”-
-Ensuring effective support systems are in place and that we operate in a fully compliant way 
style=”margin-top:0.0cm;margin-bottom:0.0cm” type=”disc”-
-Supporting Local Service Manager in effectively managing the void process on any empty properties 
style=”margin-top:0.0cm;margin-bottom:0.0cm” type=”disc”-
-A good understanding of health and safety 
style=”margin-top:0.0cm;margin-bottom:0.0cm” type=”disc”-
-Developing and maintaining relationships with customers and relevant external agencies with the proven ability to liaise effectively with statutory and voluntary partners

-Occasional travel may be a requirement of the role, therefore a full valid driving licence is desirable 
 

Skills and experiences:

-Proven management or supervisory experience gained within a social care environment is essential 
style=”margin-top:0.0cm;margin-bottom:0.0cm” type=”disc”-
-NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent 
style=”margin-top:0.0cm;margin-bottom:0.0cm” type=”disc”-
-Compassionate, understanding, and hard working with a hands-on approach to help achieve supportive outcomes 
style=”margin-top:0.0cm;margin-bottom:0.0cm” type=”disc”-
-Good written and strong communication skills  
style=”margin-top:0.0cm;margin-bottom:0.0cm” type=”disc”-
-Experience working with Mental Health 
style=”margin-top:0.0cm;margin-bottom:0.0cm” type=”disc”-
-Prior knowledge of support planning, risk assessment and safeguarding

-Previous experience working under challenging circumstances

-Confident user of IT systems
