A challenging job that can fascinate in the long term thanks to a wide range of duties (day-today management, sales, people management, strategic design…), fascinating equipment and locations (Wommelgem / visiting sites or clients).JOIN THE FORCE BEHIND #NOTHING TOO HEAVY, NOTHING TOO HIGH.We’re searching for a driven and sales-minded Depot Manager for a crane rental depot in Wolvertem. You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the depot, ensuring its smooth operation and efficiency. Additionally, you will be responsible to drive growth in sales revenue by identifying opportunities for expansion. Your desk is located in Wolvertem, but you’ll also visit clients, site locations, HQ in Wolvertem…You job as a Depot Manager in a nutshell:

  • Creating an actionable business plan and strategy to meet the KPI’s.
  • Defining and tracking the progress of annual strategic objectives to further develop the depot profitable

business in all its aspects (i.e. focus on customers, planning, sales, fleet, billing, subcontracting,
procurement, fleet, people, SHEQ, compliance, infrastructure, tools…). * Maintaining existing client relationships; regularly visiting to assess future needs.

  • Establishing new client relationships; following up on spontaneous inquiries, visiting construction sites, researching future projects, and anticipating them, acting as a proud ambassador of Sarens at construction sites and networking events.
  • Day-to-day management and ad hoc problem solving.
  • Following and monitoring an efficient planning to ensure maximize occupation of operators and

equipment. Ensuring all conditions are available so that operations are executed smoothly, safely and at
a maximum profitability, e.g. planning, overtime monitoring, well-trained operators… * Financial follow-up (budget, KPI’s, purchasements, financial insights…).

  • Managing, motivating and coaching the employees
  • Keeping the equipment in good operational condition (technically and aesthetically).

In this function you’ll periodically report to the Country Manager about the status of the depot. You can count on the expertise of the financial department, fleet, other Depot Managers… and of course the team in Wolvertem!

success. You are a born organizer; you set the right priorities at the right time. When actions are required, you
quickly switch with a solution-oriented attitude and you communicate clearly and structured to your team.
You are customer-oriented, cost-conscious and have a strong strategic and analytical insight. You are a
people manager who knows how to manage people to ensure client satisfaction. You turn individuals into a
team and get energy from well-organized teamwork.The profile requirements:
  • Bachelor or Master in engineering, economics, business…
  • Experience in a relevant position in preferable the heavy lifting, engineering, construction or rental business. Technical interest is indispensable.
  • Excellent knowledge of Dutch, English and French (oral and written).
