In this role, you will be the department manager for seven employees in our software development organization consisting of a total of 4 departments in total and roughly fifty-five people. As Department Manager, you will be responsible for leading and motivating your team and ensuring that deliveries happen on time and of the right quality. But you will also be an active and technical player and take part in ensuring that DEIFs software development approach matches the needs and complies with the latest standards and best practices in the field.You will experience great collaboration across the organization, and you will play an important role in fostering good cooperation. We offer good development opportunities and various benefits that support your health and well-being.What does it take to apply for the job?We are looking for a department manager who is technically skilled and has a great interest and passion for leadership. A background in software development and experience with modern development methods and best practices within continuous integration would be preferred, so you can help drive our efforts across all software departments in R&D.We work with Jenkins, GitLab, Docker, Ansible, Artifactory, Zabbix, Graylog, as well as with pipelines for build, quality assurance, and integration, so it is an advantage – but not a requirement – if you are familiar with these.You are highly focused on driving tasks to completion and meeting deadlines, and it is important that you possess a fantastic drive and are eager to make things happen in collaboration with other people.What can you expect from DEIF?We promise you’ll experience a culture based on values such as Ambitions, Perspective, and Respect, where we are Winning Together.
