As our new Demand Analyst & Planner, you will become part of the Nordic Demand Planning Team and report directly to the Nordic Demand Planning Manager. The team is comprised of 10 Demand Planners located across the Nordic countries (Denmark, Sweden, Norway, and Finland). This position is based at our Nordic Head Office in Ørestad, Copenhagen.The role has a split focus between driving our digital journey, including performing and supporting statistical analyses across the Nordics, as well as facilitating the development of a realistic demand plan for the Danish market. Working cross-functionally, you will assume overall responsibility for the demand plan numbers in our SAP APO-based system, and for tracking the plan numbers and, when necessary, challenging them through critique and analysis to ensure realism and accuracy.Your responsibilities will span from hands-on to strategic tasks and, thus, vary in complexity. You will secure and facilitate a realistic demand plan, analyze trends, improve campaign plan accuracy, and drive performance alongside continuous improvement.In this role, key responsibilities will include:
- Owning, analyzing, and driving the demand plan for our strategic categories alongside our commercial leads.
- Driving synergies and advancements within our recently implemented statistical forecast tool.
- Aligning baseline and promotional activities with customer order behavior and statistics to facilitate a realistic demand plan.
- Driving process improvements, reconciling significant variances, and refining forecast models to reflect updated Sales & Marketing assumptions.
You will collaborate closely with Marketing and Sales, providing relevant input on a regular basis through our Sales & Operation Planning (S&OP) process, covering volume expectations, product launches, commercial plans, promotions, and customer behavior.We are looking for the Power of YOU
We are looking for someone who is proactive and has strong interpersonal skills, as you will have many different internal stakeholders on all organizational levels. It is a must that you speak English fluently, as this is our corporate language. We prefer that you speak Danish too, as you will work in a local commercial environment where many stakeholders speak predominantly Danish. Furthermore, you:
- Hold a relevant educational background.
- Ideally, have some years of experience within Demand Planning, Demand Analysis, or similar – preferably from the FMCG industry.
- Possess excellent analytical skills and are confident in working with numerical data.
- Have strong communication and influencing skills in order to secure buy-in for suggested changes to the forecast, and feel confident challenging stakeholders, when needed.
- Have a structured approach to your work and great prioritization skills, as this is key to excel in a fast-paced environment.
