  • Together with the local leadership team develop and execute the Sales & Services strategy, make decisions with regard to Route to Market (RtM) and execute the indirect sales accordingly
  • Plan, develop, direct, execute and monitor indirect sales activities to achieve established sales targets.

  • Develop and support the existing dealers
  • Work closely with services to create a strong customer experience.

Main tasks and responsibilitiesCommercial Development:

  • Own, create, develop and drive the development and execution of the market strategy with distributors (including the business plan and budget) in cooperation with the Sales and Marketing Director and in line with the overall strategy
  • Ensure a consistent approach to the development and implementation of common processes, tools, policies and procedures with distributors
  • Plan and monitor the execution of equipment sales activities
  • Cooperate with teams to achieve set targets, customer satisfaction, market share, volumes and margins.
  • Achieve volume, price realization and customer satisfaction targets across the network
  • Grant trade discounts in accordance with established guidelines
  • Work within budget
  • Development and further strengthening of the dealer network:
  • Develop the dealer network and provide appropriate advice to support the continued development of their business activities
  • Lead and execute the sales process with distributors, including: identifying, defining and recommending distributors according to the markets
  • Lead negotiations and the implementation of agreements with distributors
  • Create strategies and business plans specific to distributors and analyze and monitor performance
  • Manage, Animate, monitor and develop relationships with distributors and have a full understanding of competition in the markets;
  • Ensure that activities meet sales expectations and cooperation requirements
  • Ensure that the dealer network provides facilities and service in accordance with Hiab standards to their customers
  • Meet distributors’ sales expectations and cooperation requirements
  • Monitor discounts and their adequacy to distributors’ volumes
  • Ensure that distributors adhere to Hiab standards in their management
  • Ensure that the dealer network provides facilities and service in accordance with Hiab standards to their customers
  • Coordinate and channel Hiab and supplier support to distributors
  • Responsible for reporting on the activity and in particular the sales forecasts of the Dealer Network according to the frequencies defined by Hiab (subsidiary and Group) Health, Safety & Environment:
  • Comply with the HSE measures in place, prevention actions, training and regulatory obligations.
  • Report accidents, incidents, dangerous situations and risks.
  • Participate in risk assessments and investigations after accidents and incidents.
  • Participate in prevention actions, propose and implement improvements.
  • Carry out HSE inspections or visits according to the defined schedule.
  • Be a source of proposals and a player in HSE continuous improvement.

What you’ll need to succeedEducation:

  • Suitable educational background; commercial, mechanical engineer, production engineer or administrative subjects (Bachelor/academic level)
  • A solid track record of leading and managing sales workforce and driving sales growth
  • At least 10 years of relevant business/product experience (e.g truck industry or load handling equipment) related to sales
  • Experience in growing and maintaining a dealer network)

  • Proven ability to drive and develop equipment business sales and profitability
  • Proven ability to develop and manage a team of sales representatives
  • Results and achievement driven and eager to create long term relationships
  • High integrity and excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong business mind-set with financial skills
  • Fluent in English and the local language a must, all communication with customers is in the local language and communication with Division and corporate is in English
