We are looking for a motivated, experienced and passionate individual to join our team!As a DBA MySQL / AWS in Pixartprinting’s Technology team, you will be a senior member of a mission-critical team.Your role is to design and maintain our business-critical database services, including ensuring performance, high-availability and data integrity. You’ll be involved in the planning, development and management of MySQL database services, as well as in troubleshooting any issues that may arise. You will play a key role in supporting our Dev teams with their data design and queries performance requirements.This is a great opportunity for innovative, entrepreneurial-minded individuals looking to make a large impact in a challenging, highly creative and ever-evolving culture.Essential Functions:· Design, manage and maintain MySQL database architecture and features in collaboration with other DBAs· Set and maintain database standardso Develop processes for optimizing database performance and securityo Monitor availability and performance of production databaseso Monitor database backups and maintain recovery procedures· Database upgrade and migrations, including migrating MySQL instances to AWS Aurora· Analyze and resolve complex technical problems, including performance tuning, and application design and debugging, diagnose and troubleshoot database errors· Support our Dev teams

• Deep knowledge and experience designing and maintaining MySQL relational databases
• Experience with MySQL Master-Slave Replication
• Advanced knowledge of database security, backup and recovery, performance monitoring, query optimization and index tuning
• Strong problem-solving skills and strong sense of ownership and responsibility
• Experience working with AWS Databases
• Orientation towards the automation of repetitive tasks
• Familiarity with Bash scripting and at least one programming language
• Experience with Linux or Unix systems
• Consistently demonstrates quality and effectiveness in work documentation and organization
• Willingness and ability to adapt/learn new technologies and best practices
• Proven ability to work cross-team, capable of interactions with wide-ranging business partners across the company (marketing, customer care, manufacturing)
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Fluent in English (both verbal and written)

Equivalent experience:· Similar experience with Oracle database technologies or Microsoft SQL Server will be taken into consideration.Your responsibilities include:

• Perform the capacity planning required to create and maintain MySQL databases
• Support multiple high complexity databases, ensuring control, high availability, performance, integrity and accessibility of data
• Writing scripts and templates to automate the management and deployment of complex infrastructures
• Managing AWS Databases
