We are seeking an experienced full time Generalist Data Warehouse Developer to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of data warehouse tools, technologies, and methodologies, and will be able to work independently to design, develop, and maintain effective data warehouse solutions.Responsibilities:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements
Design and develop efficient data warehouse solutions using industry-standard tools and technologies
Create ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from various sources
Develop data models & schemas to support business intelligence and reporting needs
Monitor and optimize performance of data warehouse environments
Develop and maintain technical documentation and user guides
Troubleshoot and resolve data integration and data quality issues
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in data warehousing and business intelligence
Play a crucial role in pushing our existing Data Warehouse solutions to the next level.Your profile
Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
At least 5 years of experience in data warehousing, ETL development, and BI
Knowledge of SQL Server, Oracle, and other database platforms
General experience with ETL tools such as Informatica Power Center or Informatica Cloud.
Knowledge of data warehousing concepts such as star schema, snowflake schema, and dimensional modeling
Proficiency in SQL is a must, further scripting languages such as Python is a plus
Knowledge of BI-tool such as: SAP BO, QlikSense, Tableau or Quicksight
Ideally first experience with cloud-based data warehousing (e.g. Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery)
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and software development lifecycle
Strong communication and interpersonal skills; Fluently in Dutch and English
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Self-motivated and detail-oriented
Experience in the financial and automotive sector is a plus
