Job DescriptionThe hybrid work model requires a minimum of one day per week of in-office work (Poznań).As part of the Technical Platform Teams, we provide internal customers with NoSQL databases. We have built our own DBaaS based on Kubernetes. We support development teams in database management, application modelling, performance troubleshooting, and backup & restore solutions.With us, you will work with MongoDB clusters at scale:Hundreds of databases in productionThousands of data nodesHundreds of terabytes of dataApproximately 1 million operations in aggregate database trafficDatabases hosted on KubernetesTwo datacenters and a cloud environmentWe are looking for people who:Have professional experience with any NoSQL or SQL databasesAre eager and willing to learn MongoDB database administrationPossess knowledge in data modeling, with a focus on optimal data storage and high performanceHave practical expertise in identifying causes of performance problems, performing load tests, tuning queries, and selecting optimal indexesUse Linux with easeAre familiar with English at a minimum B2 levelNice to have:Experience in MongoDBKnowledge of Kubernetes and public cloud environmentsUnderstanding of backup and disaster recovery processesFocus on solving issues at the interface between applications and databasesWhat we offer:A hybrid work model that you can agree upon with your leader and the team.
