We are currently looking for a Data Scientist with more than 2 years’ experience (in a long-term contract).
WHAT YOU WILL BE WORKING ON
You will be able to deep dive into our massive player data in-game, prototype and deploy machine learning models to drive game revenue.
What is means on a daily basis
- Mine large data sets at a fast-moving gaming company and turn them into understandable and actionable insights
- Perform extensive feature engineering from the vast data in our data warehouse
- Prototype different ML models that improve our baselines
- Help contribute to our internal tracking, prediction pipeline and monitoring solutions
- Improve experimental capabilities through good experimental design and the use of key statistical methods, including causal inference and A/B testing
Who you will be working with
As a Data Scientist in our Global Data Science and Analytics team, you will be reporting to our Lead Data Scientist and collaborate very closely with other data scientists, data analysts and data engineers in the team.
Qualifications
WHO YOU ARE
- Autonomous and team player, detail-oriented
- Good communication in English (French is not mandatory)
- Passionate about video games and the economy behind
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
- Master’s degree in a quantitative field (computer science, applied mathematics or data science) with strong IT skills
- Proficiency in Python (esp. pandas, numpy, scikit-learn, matplotlib, seaborn etc.)
- Strong skills in SQL
- Experience with Git and with Machine Learning algorithms and data science workflow, including experimental design and key statistical methods, with strong communication skills for complex topics
Would be a plus if you have:
- Kaggle experience
- Played our mobile and console games or willing to play
- Curiosity and willingness to try new things
