We are seeking a Data Scientist to drive the development of cutting-edge AI solutions for delivering hyper-personalised ads in the Connected TV (CTV) space. This is a unique opportunity to build models and solutions from scratch, driving innovation and making a direct impact on the technological direction of the platform. You will work with LangChain, OpenAI, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) to build intelligent systems that transform real-time ad targeting.
Main Resposibilities:
- Design, develop, and deploy AI models from the ground up, leveraging LangChain, OpenAI, and RAG to enable hyper-personalised ad delivery at scale.
- Implement natural language processing (NLP) techniques to enhance the relevance and targeting of real-time ads across the CTV platform.
- Build and optimise retrieval-augmented generation systems for fast, accurate ad targeting and content recommendations.
- Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of AI model development, from ideation and design to deployment and optimisation, having full ownership of the solutions you create.
- Collaborate closely with engineering and product teams to integrate models that improve ad relevance, targeting precision, and overall platform performance.
- Develop methods to process and analyse vast amounts of real-time user data for generating actionable insights that improve ad personalisation.
- Stay updated on the latest developments in AI, NLP, and recommendation systems, ensuring the platform remains at the forefront of innovation.
- Ensure models are ethically sound, fair, and transparent in their decision-making.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in data science, machine learning, or AI roles, with a strong background in NLP and recommendation systems.
- Expertise in LangChain, OpenAI, or similar language models and generative AI technologies.
- Proven experience with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and its application in real-time, large-scale systems.
- Strong proficiency in Python and machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Hugging Face Transformers.
- Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, PostgreSQL) for handling and querying large datasets.
- Experience with big data processing frameworks such as Apache Spark, Hadoop, or Kafka for managing and analysing real-time data streams.
- Experience in cloud platforms (preferably AWS) for deploying and scaling AI models in production.
- Solid knowledge of version control systems like Git, CI/CD pipelines, and containerisation technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience in AdTech, e-commerce, streaming, highly personalised content delivery, telecommunications, financial services, healthtech, or gaming (especially dealing with user behaviour data, real-time analytics, and recommendation systems) is highly preferred.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in data-driven decision-making, model evaluation, and performance optimisation.
