The successful candidate will have a proven track record of leading a global team of data scientists and engaging with stakeholders from different parts of the company in delivering data science products. Required Skills and Experience5+ years experience in leading a global team of data scientistsMaster’s degree in a quantitative discipline, such as mathematics, statistics, computer science or a related fieldKnowledge of modeling tools and programming languages, e.g., Azure ML, Vortex AI AutoML, SageMaker, or PythonExcellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skillsCommunication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex data insights to both technical and non-technical audiencesAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneously, while maintaining a high level of attention to detailFamiliarity with MLOps principles and best practices, including model versioning, testing, and deployment, as well as monitoring and maintenance of machine learning models in productionPreferred Skills and ExperiencePhD Degree in a quantitative discipline, such as mathematics, statistics, computer science or a related fieldProfessional certification, e.g., Open Certified Data ScientistCloud platform certification, e.g., AWS Certified Machine Learning – Specialty, Google Cloud Professional Machine Learning Engineer, or Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Scientist AssociateUnderstanding of social coding and Integrated Development Environments, e.g., GitHub and Visual StudioExperience in at least one domain, e.g., cybersecurity, IT service management, financial services, or health careBeing YouDiversity is a whole lot more than what we look like or where we come from, it’s how we think and who we are.
